What musical language do Latin American teacher-composers currently use in their works? What are the new musical avant-gardes and the new avant-gardes?
The second volume of Latin American Sound Poetics came out today, now with the participation of 48 composers / teachers from 6 universities. Once again a privilege to publish another of my works, this time Cuban Varjazzciones on a Mozart theme, together with 10 of my colleagues from the University of the Arts in Ecuador; but now a luxury multiplied by sharing the space with the Masters of my land: Roberto Valera, José Loyola, Nathalie Hidalgo Reyes, Jorge Denis Molina and Javier Iha.
